The Western North Carolina Plein Air Painters is a network of painters with an interest in promoting plein-air painting. By maintaining a data base of like-minded artists we are able to connect our members with each other so they will always have painting companions and opportunities to paint the great outdoors.Our mission is to stay true to the idea of plein air painting by capturing "a moment in time" and by painting in a variety of interesting and diverse locations. We will make the community aware of plein air painting by exhibiting our work and organizing paint outs.
